Five Baby Capybara Pups Born at Zoo
Keepers said the 4-pound pups were walking within minutes and exploring their habitat after Maple unexpectedly delivered two more babies.
- Hertfordshire Zoo welcomed five capybara pups on July 13 to first-time mom Maple and dad Mani, surprising keepers who expected the birth to end after three arrivals.
