Recently, at the USATF Indoor, your editor (c’est moi) was sitting in the stands with Jeff Benjamin, senior writer for Staten Island and Elliott Denman, senior senior writer for all things New Jersey, Olympics, true athletics history.  Elliott Denman is 91 this year, and competed in the 1956 Olympic race walk at 50 kilometers.
