Medical deserts. What are the tried and tested ways to encourage future doctors to settle in rural areas?
How to combat medical deserts? A bill will be considered by Members of Parliament on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Among other things, it plans to supervise the installation of liberal doctors in order to direct them to the underfunded areas. Liberal doctors' representatives strongly oppose it, so we have identified five other avenues, experienced in Brittany, and designed to facilitate access to care everywhere.
