Russia Cancels Naval Parade Amid Security Worries
Russia has called off its primary annual naval parade in St. Petersburg due to security concerns, according to Russian news source Fontanka. The event was supposed to take place on Navy Day, a celebration held on the last Sunday of July in Russia.
Preparations for the parade were stopped a few days ago, while plans are under way to set up a wreath for Navy Day and a concert at the Palace Square.
