Mexico added up to two more deaths from measles. One of the deaths was recorded in Jalisco, which marks the first death in the state during 2026 in the current outbreak that began in 2025. The Ministry of Health reported that until February 17, 2026, 10,085 cases of measles were confirmed in the 32 states and 362 municipalities of the country.
