McDonald's 'Biggest Burger yet,' Coming to Menus for a Limited Time
The Big Arch burger features two quarter-pound patties and 1,057 calories, developed to meet demand for a larger, satisfying beef option at McDonald's U.S. locations.
- Starting March 3, McDonald's will offer the Big Arch burger in the United States, described as its biggest and boldest burger and a 'love letter to fans.'
- Following a sales jump of 5.7% at locations open for at least a year, McDonald's developed the Big Arch in response to demand, CEO Chris Kempczinski said.
- The sandwich features two quarter-pound beef patties, three slices of white cheddar, a toasted sesame-and-poppy-seed bun, and Big Arch Sauce described as tangy and creamy with mustard, pickle, and sweet tomato flavors.
- Pricing will be set locally by individual McDonald's restaurants, and the burger could cost $10-$11 in the U.S., McDonald's said.
- Against rival limited-time burgers, the Big Arch has appeared in Canada, Germany, Portugal, France, and Switzerland, and analyst Mark Kalinowski says it could join the permanent menu.
