A New Jersey man claims in court papers he was scalded by a cup of hot tea that spilled on him at a McDonald’s restaurant in Bergen County.Clarence G. Jenkins, 50, filed a lawsuit stating he visited the fast-food store in the 100 block of Passaic Street in Garfield, New Jersey, about 3 p.m. on Dec. 21, 2023, in his motorized wheelchair when he was burned.
