A former McCurtain County jail supervisor, Joseph Nelson Ebert, has pleaded guilty to federal civil rights violations involving the use of unreasonable force against detainees. Ebert faces up to 20 years in prison and is currently free on bond pending sentencing by a US District Court Judge.
