Pula Mayor Peđa Grbin left the memorial ceremony early on Monday to mark the 79th anniversary of the Vergarola beach explosion, which killed more than a hundred people. Italian minority representative Enio Forlani called the tragedy a genocide in a speech, which Grbin believes is historical revisionism, Croatian news agency Hina reports.
