Mayor and 4 officials of Tepotzotlán are disbarred

The Administrative Dispute Tribunal disbarred the mayor of Tepotzotlán, State of Mexico, María de los Angeles Zuppa, along with four officials of her administration, for alleged acts of corruption. The seventh regidor, Beatriz Sandoval Antonio, revealed that the court issued the decision on February 6, although Zuppa remained in office until his official separation on February 28. The disqualification will last seven months and 15 days.
