The Eastern Railway Station will be closed for a month from August 25. Zsolt Hegyi, CEO of MÁV, said that 4.5 billion forints will be spent on the renovation. During the renovation, critical elements of the railway infrastructure will be replaced, making the station safer.

Due to renovation works, Keleti Railway Station services will use alternative terminals between August 25 and September 20. Both MÁV and the traveling public are facing a difficult period.
