Matthew Perry Went to Ozzy Osbourne's House for AA Meetings Before Death
Matthew Perry attended 90 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in 90 days at Ozzy Osbourne’s home and West Hollywood’s AA Log Cabin during his sobriety efforts.
- In his posthumous memoir Last Rites, released Tuesday, October 7, Ozzy Osbourne revealed Matthew Perry attended AA meetings at his home.
- After Sharon Osbourne 'busted' him, Perry attended 90 meetings in 90 days at the AA Log Cabin, West Hollywood and had undergone ketamine infusion therapy before using it outside a medical setting.
- Using direct memories, Osbourne said, `He used to come to our house for AA meetings, or so my wife tells me` and called Perry 'the funniest, most talented bloke.'
- Perry died on October 28, 2023, at age 54 from an accidental ketamine overdose, and Jasveen Sangha pleaded guilty to five federal charges, with sentencing set for December.
- Osbourne wrote that he tried a doctor-supervised ketamine microdose but stopped and credited Alcoholics Anonymous with helping him get started on the way back to being sober.
