The Britishman Matthew Brennan (Visma Lease a Bike) presented credentials with his first win in a big one when he won the esprint in the second stage of the Vuelta a España, disputed between Monaco and Manosque (France), in which the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar held onto the red leotard in third place.
The stage went to young Briton Matthew Brennan from the Visma-Lease a Bike team.
