Matt Fitzpatrick overcomes slow start and leads Scheffler by 3 shots at Hilton Head

- After carding a 64, Scottie Scheffler surged into contention with five birdies through six holes. "Good to be back in the tournament," Scheffler said.
- Trailing by four shots, Brian Harman, Woo Kim, and Sepp Straka remain in contention. Harman, a former British Open champion, carded a 63, while Kim and Straka posted strong rounds.
