- Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav demanded an immediate support package and high-level inquiry. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak visited the affected area, while Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Amol Murkut confirmed an investigation into the cause is underway.
- Authorities are currently assessing the loss to determine long-term rehabilitation for displaced families. Police and fire officials continue investigating whether an electrical spark or cylinder blast triggered the disaster, with no final cause yet determined.
