Mass. woman serving life sentence in connection with fatal baby slashing denied parole

A Massachusetts woman who has spent more than two decades in prison after pleading guilty to the fatal stabbing of an infant was denied parole.In December 2002, police responded to an apartment in Chelsea after a family reported their baby missing. Police found the 8-month-old infant outside under a garbage container with multiple slash marks to the back of its neck, according to parole documents.
