A New Bedford man was identified as the person killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 18 in New Bedford on Aug. 3, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III’s office said Thursday. Johan Marquez Marte, 37, died following a crash in the area of Union Street at around 2:30 p.m. that day. New Bedford police arrived and found Marte in the left lane between Union and Elm Streets, Quinn’s office said in a statement.
