Israel expands the war on Iran, ordering mass displacement in Lebanon
Israel has ordered the entire population of southern Beirut—around 500,000 people—and all residents south of the Litani River, more than 300,000 people, to evacuate. Its armed forces have invaded and launched hundreds of strikes.
Lebanon, led into the war by Hezbollah, which targeted Israel to "venge" the death of the Iranian supreme guide, has since been subjected to increasing strikes and Israeli incursions on its soil.
