Mason City high schooler attends American Legion Auxiliary Girls State

Mason City High School student Kaitlyn Thangaraj was selected to attend the 2025 session American Legion Auxiliary Girls State held in Des Moines last week.

Area Boys and Girls State Citizens

Girls and Boys State is a week-long event where high school juniors learn and focus on different parts of American Government and politics. These programs help teach leadership and citizenship all while creating a positive environment. These events are sponsored by the American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary.
