Mary V. Rose scholarship applications now open
The Oak Grove Cape Verdean Cultural Center is now accepting applications for the Mary V. Rose Annual Scholarships. The scholarship honors Mary V. Rose, a longtime Onset resident and founding member of the Oak Grove Cape Verdean Cultural Center. Rose was widely recognized for her deep commitment to community service, as well as her compassion and dedication to helping those in need. She passed away in May 2020 at 105-years-old.
