Martinez resident — and political newcomer — among challengers to entrenched U.S. Rep. John Garamendi  Nicolas Carjuzaa said his campaign strategy included knocking on nearly 14,000 doors, including more than 3,000 in Richmond, in his June 2 primary bid for the 8th Congressional District seat.
