WHITTIER — Caleb Thatcher threw a shutout for the Marshall baseball team in a 1-0 win over Santa Fe on Friday night in the CIF Southern Section Division 6 quarterfinals. Thatcher, a senior, allowed six hits over seven innings and struck out seven to help his team advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2019.
