Marshall notebook: Herd hires swim coach; 11 tabbed to Phil Steele football lists

Marshall has hired Phoebe Campbell as its new women’s swimming and diving coach, announced by the university Thursday. Campbell will be formally introduced at a press conference on June 30 at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. Campbell most recently was an assistant coach at Akron. She worked within recruiting, team operations and helped lead the Zips to their fifth consecutive championship in the Mid-American Conference.
