HUNTINGTON — Marshall coach Tony Gibson made it known immediately that the state of West Virginia will have a presence in the way he builds a football program. A total of 23 of the Herd’s 105 players are West Virginia natives. Former Hurricane High School quarterback JacQai Long continues to improve as camp winds down, competing for a starting job at Marshall.
