Marmora says NO to Alto high speed rail

At the April 7 Marmora and Lake Council meeting, a $500 contribution to the Marmora Fair was approved. This year the Fair returns to Labour Day weekend and will run on Saturday and Sunday. A request from the Legion to change the planned location of the Fallen Soldier crosswalk was also approved. The new location is across Forsyth St. on the north side of Matthew (Highway 7). Work will be done during the evening or night to reduce traffic impact.…
