- Amid a dispute over a TikTok video, colleagues smeared grease on the unnamed 19-year-old crew member and sought the video on his phone, which he refused, deputies said.
- Tate Trauthwein threw the victim's boots into nearby woods, Edward Kenny III grabbed him causing a fall, then colleagues pulled down his pants, struck him with a belt, took his phone, and waterboarded him three times.
- On Wednesday, detectives arrested Edward Kenny III, Seth Day, Tate Trauthwein and Kaylee Bradley; all four were fired by Marion County Fire Rescue and held at Marion County Jail awaiting court.
- Fire Chief James Banta said the behavior was unacceptable and contrary to core values, and Marion County Fire Rescue is reviewing the Marion County Sheriff's Office investigation, while commissioner Carl Zalak called the station `like a frat house` Wednesday.
