Cal Raleigh, Josh Naylor Undergo Offseason Surgeries; Both to Be Ready for Spring Training
The Mariners said both players should be ready for spring training after Raleigh's shoulder procedure and Naylor's wrist repair.
The Seattle Mariners announced Monday that catcher Cal Raleigh and infielder Josh Naylor underwent successful surgeries on Saturday to address their respective injuries.
Raleigh, who led the league with 60 home runs in 2025, saw his production decline in 2026, hitting 23 home runs while missing 36 games.
At the University of Washington Medical Center, Raleigh, 29, underwent a left shoulder AC debridement, while 29-year-old Naylor had TFCC repair surgery on his right wrist.
Both players are expected to make a full recovery, with the Mariners anticipating they will be ready for the start of spring training.
Over their careers, Raleigh has 176 home runs while Naylor has 492 RBIs across 897 games, establishing both as core offensive contributors.
