- North West Ambulance Service requested Bolton MRT after being unable to reach the injured woman who twisted her ankle and suffered a painful lower leg injury.
- The rescue team arrived within ten minutes, assessed her condition, gave pain relief, stabilised her leg with a splint, and carried her on a stretcher to a rendezvous point.
