The staff of the Secretariat of Marine (Semar), participated in the collection of more than 980 sea turtle eggs, near Cabo San Lucas; this, as part of the joint actions with the Marine Resources Protection Fund (Fonmar) and the Municipal Marine Turtle Protection Network. This originated after a citizen report was received on the presence of a turtle spawning on El Médano beach in Cabo San Lucas.
