- The male driver, aged in his 20s, was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1996, and taken to a Garda station in Limerick city for searches under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
- A follow-up search in Castletroy, Limerick, recovered €2,075 and a small quantity of cannabis, and the drugs will soon be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
