Beloved mother and friend (Marian) Doreen Shain, aged 86 of Devon Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Lynnwood Care Center on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Doreen was born to Walter and Irene Cherewyk in southern Saskatchewan on March 11, 1940. She left home at 18 to pursue her education in Saskatoon and began teaching shortly thereafter.
