Mare Island Logo repainted
After being taken down late last year, the Mare Island Logo has been repainted. The historic 600-pound logo came down in October for refurbishment and a new paint job. Jerry Hutchinson is the original painter of the redesigned logo, which was installed in May 1980 on the Ernest Wichels Causeway Bridge.
