‘Marching to Remember’: Cleveland’s inaugural ‘Five for the Fallen’ ruck honors veterans lost in combat and at home

Dozens marched through downtown Cleveland on Memorial Day carrying weighted packs to honor veterans lost in combat and at home. The inaugural “Five for the Fallen Memorial March” spotlighted the emotional toll of military service and raised support for grieving families.

On the last Monday of May the country stops "to remember and honor the soldiers who died in the service of their country, in particular those who died in combat or as a result of wounds suffered in combat", according to the Veterans Department.Read more]]>
