Many objections to the construction of a whole new village, minister brings bickering parties around the table

In an attempt to reduce the number of appeal proceedings against the construction of the new village of Cortelande, Minister Mona Keijzer has appointed a mediator: top official Wim Kuijken. His assignment is to get rid of the appeals of the water council and Rijkswaterstaat against the construction of eight thousand homes at the end of September. In addition, appeals from private parties are still pending before the Council of State.
