The Working Committee of the Tangkhul Naga Long has blamed the Kuki National Army-Burma and Kuki elements backed by the Myanmar-based People’s Defence Force for the attack at Pilong village, the third such incident along the India-Myanmar border in Kamjong district
Armed assailants killed four people in Pilong village, Kamjong district, Manipur, on Thursday afternoon. Police suspect the attackers came from across the Indo-Myanmar border. One person managed to escape. The deceased include a father and son. The KNA-B faction is suspected of carrying out the attack, although police have not yet confirmed this.
