The 27-year-old man who crashed his car into a canal near Mack’s Fish Camp in western Broward County on Wednesday night and died has been identified as a Hialeah resident. Ramiro Gomez-Diaz, of Hialeah, was driving a 2007 Chevy Tahoe shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday near the 18000 block of Krome Avenue when he veered off the road and crashed into the water, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
