MEADOW LAKE – A 31-year-old man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been sentenced to jail time. Brenden Yew appeared in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on May 14, where he received a sentence of 718 days. He was credited with 377 days of pre-trial custody, leaving 341 days remaining to serve. Yew was wanted by Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team (WEST) and Correctional Service Canada for being unlawfully at large.…
