Man Shot by Police in Houston After Allegedly Shooting 3 People in Passing Vehicles

- Three people, including a mother and daughter, were struck by gunfire; the injured victims sought help at nearby HFD Fire Station 43 and are currently in stable condition.
- Police arrived about 20 minutes after the shooting began, and three HPD officers and a DPS Trooper fired their weapons at the suspect after he failed to obey commands to drop his rifle.
- The suspect remains in the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, though authorities have not released his identity, as investigators continue to process the scene on Wayside.
