Man left with life-threatening injuries after car hits pedestrians in Arnold, Nottingham

  • Detectives identified a suspect, believed to be a white man, and are currently tracking him down after he abandoned the vehicle at the scene.
  • Officers closed off Market Place and junctions connecting to Gedling Road, Derby Street, Hallams Lane, and Central Avenue while police urged motorists to avoid the area.
  • "There is no indication at this stage of any ongoing threat to the wider public," Detective Chief Inspector Ruby Burrow said, though officers remain on-site to offer reassurance.
