A man is said to have ordered hundreds of meals under foreign names in Poland and thus damaged restaurants. However, it did not remain a bad joke.
A 23-year-old Pole who ordered some 300 pizzas in the names of politicians risks up to eight years in prison. He allegedly placed orders worth around 8,583 euros.
The Polish authorities detained a 23-year-old man suspected of placing hundreds of fake food orders on behalf of people who knew nothing about them. Among the orders were one for 300 pizzas, and some of the requests contained threats, Euronews reports.
He used names of well-known people and details that were allegedly known only to his victims - Threats included child kidnapping, arson and causing a car accident
The man ordered around 300 pizzas, worth 8,500 euros. He faces eight years in prison after allegedly repeatedly making false food orders.
