A MAN was taken to hospital after reports that he was hit by a car in Dumfries on Saturday night. Police and ambulance were called to the scene in Criffel Road at about 11.20 pm and the 28-year-old was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries.
