Winner man faces attempted murder charge
WINNER — A 24-year-old Winner man has been indicted in Tripp County Circuit Court on charges of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault stemming from an April 20 incident involving a victim identified in court documents by the initials G.B. An infant was admitted to the National Hospital with extensive injuries in April, and the parents were arrested by police at the hospital. They have been charged with attempted murder.
The National Hospital notified the police after a four-month-old child came in for treatment in April.
The man, in his 20s, has pleaded not guilty.
