At around 2:35 pm on the 8th, a call was made to 119 from a person claiming to be an acquaintance, who said, "I was sparring (for martial arts) and then collapsed" at an apartment in Higashihama 1-chome, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City. According to Higashi Police Station, a man in his 20s was rushed to the hospital unconscious and was confirmed dead about two hours later.
