Man charged in connection with sexual assaults hasn’t been in custody since 2024 indictments

SPRINGFIELD — A Springfield man indicted by a Hampden Superior Court grand jury on four counts of aggravated rape of a child, two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, and witness intimidation of an 11-year-old girl in Westfield, has not been in custody since the indictments in November of 2024. According to court records and a police log, he was recently spotted in Westfield by a relative of the victim.
