A man has been flown to hospital after being hit by a car near the Melrose Drive and the Hume Highway in Wodonga.

A man was hit by a car on the Spoorlaan in Oisterwijk on Friday afternoon. The victim tried to catch the bus, but while running across the street, he did not see the car. The man could no longer avoid it, causing the victim to end up injured on the street meters further on. The man came from the Oisterwijk train station and saw his bus at the stop on the Spoorlaan.
