Spokane priest attacked during prayer service

A man was arrested after allegedly attacking a Spokane priest during a prayer service at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes with around 400 parishioners present.
Security footage shows the man charging the altar towards Father Gaines, who was not physically injured during the incident.
Father Darrin Connall, who witnessed the attack, stated he had never seen a situation like this in his 14 years at the church.
The motive for the attack remains unknown, and the church is currently hosting nine days of prayer for healing leading up to the Lady of Lourdes Feast Day on February 11.
