Man Arrested for Alleged Drunk Driving Accident in Fake Unmarked Police Car (Kyodo News)

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department arrested Ren Nakamura, a 23-year-old unemployed man from Toda City, Saitama Prefecture, on the 21st on suspicion of dangerous driving causing injury and other offenses in violation of the Act on Punishment of Offenses Relating to Motor Vehicle Driving. He is accused of drunk driving a car disguised as an unmarked police car, causing an accident, and seriously injuring a passenger.
