Man and Woman Found Dead at Ipswich Premier Inn as Police Flood Scene
Emergency services found the pair in a room, and officers said the deaths are not believed to involve suspicious circumstances.
On Tuesday, a man and woman in their 20s were found dead inside a room at the Premier Inn on Key Street, Ipswich, Suffolk.
Suffolk Police stated the deaths are being treated as unexplained, though officers currently do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances involved.
Emergency services were summoned to the 85-room hotel shortly before 2.30pm, with five police cars, two police vans and an ambulance attending the scene.
Separately, Whitbread revealed plans to axe approximately 3,800 positions across Ireland while undertaking a major restructure of 197 restaurants.
The Premier Inn appears to have reopened to guests today, resuming operations following the discovery and investigation earlier this week.
