'He Thought It Was Funny': Video Shows Pennsylvania Woman Yelling at Man Accused of Following Her
Police say Ring footage helped identify the suspect, who faces stalking and harassment charges after a similar incident in July.
- Authorities arrested Anthony Bartos after he allegedly followed Jerah Jorinscay home from a bar in Bellevue, Pennsylvania, and attempted to enter her home at 12:41 a.m. on Sunday.
- Ring doorbell camera footage showed Bartos following Jorinscay for blocks before the incident, according to the criminal complaint. The footage, along with assistance from another police department, led investigators to identify him.
- Jorinscay told WTAE she saw a shadow behind her head while struggling with her keys on the porch. Doorbell footage captures her yelling at the man, who then ran away.
- Bartos faces charges of stalking, harassment, and instruments of crime. Authorities denied his bail on Monday evening, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug. 27.
- Police in another Pittsburgh neighborhood previously charged Bartos with prowling and harassment after a similar incident in July. He also faces separate gun and assault charges from a workplace fight in May.
