Man, 25, seriously injured on PATH tracks in Hoboken after dropping phone

A 25-year-old man is in serious condition after receiving an electric shock on the PATH tracks in Hoboken early Sunday while attempting to retrieve his dropped phone, authorities said.The man came into contact with the third rail, which carries high-voltage electricity to power the trains, as he tried to retrieve his phone. He was unconscious on the tracks when Port Authority police arrived at 1:55 a.m., the agency said in a statement.
